Many organizations find that having a "Web Mailing List" (advertised on their Website) is a useful mechanism for keeping people informed and in touch with what is going on. The list is made up of email addresses of those who indicate an interest in receiving "news" about the organization and other related items. People can control their participation in the list by requesting that their email be added to or removed from the list at any time.

Any member of the parish can request that the Webmaster distribute any appropriate email message, including: news, a question, some announcement, or other item. If there is any question about appropriateness, the item will be reviewed by the Parish Council before being posted. This is a mechanism for sharing "general news" and could even be used for discussions.
