St. Richard's Anglican Church

Welcome

Welcome to the website for St. Richard's, a church located along Merivale Road in Nepean, (Ottawa) a couple of kilometers down from the Queensway, and a couple up from Hunt Club Road. We celebrate the Holy Eucharist on most Sundays at 8:00 and 10:00 and also on Thursdays at 10:00. You are most welcome to join us anytime – drop in for a visit. It’s my hope that you’ll find a warm and welcoming place where you’ll want to stay.

Everyone’s invited and when you come in you won’t be asked to do anything embarrassing or odd: just listen, maybe pray, maybe sing. If you were baptized, in any Christian church, you’re welcome to receive the bread and wine at communion. If you weren’t baptized, or just not ready, you don’t have to receive the bread and wine at communion. You can stay in your seat, or come up and ask me to pray over you, or ask someone on the prayer team assembled in our chapel to pray for you.

Today, we have room for you and your children at worship and at all of our parish events. Join us, and help us to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, our Lord, that we may serve the world around us and spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word and deed.
