January 2012

Sunday, January 22 – St. Richard’s Volunteer Fair
Do you have hidden talents and gifts that you could offer to your parish community? Not sure what’s needed or how to get involved? A volunteer fair will be held next Sunday following the 10 am service to provide information to parishioners about the various ministry opportunities that exist in the church. Whether it’s something visible like singing in the choir or something more behind the scenes like arranging flowers on the altar, or assisting with outreach activities or children’s ministry, or even participating in St. Richard’s Curling Club, there are many ways to get more involved in your parish! Please consider your gifts and interests and see how you might like to become more active in the life of your community. It’s also a good opportunity to get to know others and build a stronger and more caring community. Join us on Sunday, January 22 for some information and discussion.
